This page will describe the feature of an asynchronous interface for Node.js driver for SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise using ODBC driver. This feature creates an official Node.js driver for SAP ASE supported by SAP. When you configure the ODBC driver to connect to SAP ASE, you create an ODBC data source. You can configure more than one datasource for SAP ASE. For example, you might want one data source for each database.
Purpose
Here is a simple example of an ODBC driver connecting to Databases for Smart Data Analytics.
Overview
To connect to Databases such as Adaptive Server Enterprise(ASE) an ODBC driver is needed. By default the HANA ODBC Driver is setup, but others are not.
unixODBC
May 16, 2013 I am trying to install Sybase ASE ODBC driver for Windows on one of our test machine. Than do a search for 'SAP SDK for Adaptive Server Enterprise' Click the free trial and it will ask for your information and send you an email. From the link you get you should see a list of the SDKs.
unixODBC is a 3rd party tool to house ODBC drivers from different companies. This product uses 2 different configuration files to store information regarding ODBC drivers.
odbc.ini - this holds database information
Police report software free download. These systems also make all data accessible to relevant officers, which improves collaboration between departments. What is law enforcement software?helps public safety and security organizations manage data and public records. Reduced operational costs: Law enforcement software systems offer database management, case management, dispatching, and scheduling capabilities, all of which reduce overhead costs associated with the manual completion of such tasks by preventing human error and facilitating paperless operations. The benefits of law enforcement software. Law enforcement software systems facilitate the storage and transfer of data from body cameras, crime scene photographs, closed-circuit TV (CCTV) feeds, smartphones, satellites, and other agency databases.2.

ODBC in SDS
To add an ODBC driver to SDS:
- Open HANA Studio
- Data Services tab
- Establish a connection to your SDS server
- Right click Default > Add ODBC Services
- Properties:
User = <database user>
Password = <user password>
ODBC DSN = <odbc.ini name in bracket 'ASE'>
Adapter
Generic_DB_input or Generic_DB_output can be used to connect to the Databases.
Database Service Name = DSN / <odbc.ini name in bracket>
